not trying to cherrypick one good ET game against an obviously disinterested celtics team but why didnt this happen sooner?

i mean jodie is barely a rotation guy let alone a starter
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

ET is in Dougie's doghouse. You could tell going back to last season by his demeanor when they'd interact.

Rod Thorn was on Mike Miss the other day and gave the standard ET isn't playing more because Iggy is ahead of him. I mean we all know that's bullshtein but ok. Meeks starts but ET still gets more minutes. Smallwood wrote an article saying they should trade ET, I wouldn't mind that so much if the right deal came along.

Doug alluded to Evan being the PG now with Holiday running off the ball like he did at UCLA.

So farging WIP or whatever they call themselves now are blacking out the Sixers games on their webcast.  Since the all- star break the shteins have not broadcast any games over the Internet.  Get the same Valentines Day rebroadcast of the Morning Show during Sixers games.  iceholes.

you can listen for free on the NBA's website.  you just have to sign up for an account.  they used to be blacked out on there because WIP was playing them, but it's switched now

problem is turner is not a pg. he is very unaggressive with the ball and would rather set up plays than take a defender one on one to the rim.

matter of fact this is the problem with the sixers offense in general. watching them even try to run a half court set is extremely painful.

ice grillin you

hes not nearly quick enough and doesnt have a good enough handle to play point...thats why they cant run a half court offense because no one on the team can consistently take anyone off the dribble...turner should be in the post as much as he should be running the offense....he has some nice moves down there and he can shoot over a lot of the people guarding him

His handle is underrated.  He's very crafty with the ball, and he's gotten to the basketball much more so than Jrue or Iguodala.  I think his craftiness helps to offset what he lacks in athleticism.  He did a great job last night when defending Rondo.   With Turner, Jrue, and Iguodala all playing at the same time, I think the team will shut down pgs much more effectively.

Craftiness? The kid played 36+ had 2 assists. I'm not sure what games you're watching but Turner does not go hard to the rim anymore than Jrue or Iggy. Matter of fact I've seen Jrue go plenty--his problem is he doesnt know how to distribute.

I'm not saying Turner cant dish the rock, as he is very good in transition, but let's not pretend hes this magic johnson crafty passer just yet or even ever will be.

Hawk

When did I say he was a crafty passer.    He's crafty with the ball, which helps offset his lack of explosion to the lane.  Evan looked better with the ball in his hands last night than Jrue has all season.

What did he do that was so crafty besides dribble 3 times and send it over to the wing 50 times?
