Wonder if they'd take Brand (expiring contract after this season) and a player or pick. Or Iguodala would do, they could then slide ET to the 3 full time. I doubt it ever happens because I can't see the Knicks trading him here but I like the speculation.

ive watched the knicks a lot this year and imo stoudmire isnt to far away from being elton brand...dont get me wrong he def more talented but his legs have digressed to the point where hes headed to the place brand is in terms of explosion and athleticism...i think youll see in the not too distant future amare taking a whole lot of elbow jumpers versus getting at people around the rim

They rid themselves of Webber only to pick up Webber light in Brand now they're ridding themselves of that contract soon so lets not repeat this endless cycle of overpaying low post players who are well past their prime.

plus EB is a great dude who fits in with the team

stoudemire would not take getting demoted from ny to philly well.

big time pass. get rid of EB's contract and use that cap space as you can.

nothing to see here. They dont have interest in his contract or his knees. i dont think they do anything at all til offseason. maybe something small for the speights exception...small if anything.

the plan is to wait until the off season and use cap space to try and get a star big man(nocioni and hawes walk and brand amnestied). they will not amnesty brand unless they have a done deal to bring someone else in.

This.  Not to mention, but with a compact season and less days off, Amare's minutes need to be monitored closely just to make sure that he's able to walk come playoff time.  .

he better need a permanent ice bath for his arms after the game....sixers need to chop the farg out of him i dont care if they foul out the bench down to craig brackins...if tony battie doesnt have six fouls by the 4th quarter something is wrong

no jameer tonight which helps...altho i wish some of these teams were at full strength when they play the sixers

Teams that let Dwight get his numbers are usually very successful against the magic.   Jameer has been dreadful this year,  I'm more worried about Ryan Anderson going off if the sixers decide to double down.
