also i dont EVER criticize collins but what was he doing bringing lou off the bench after he had sat for most of the 4th quarter and OT and running the biggest play of the game for him

yea that one was mike dunleavy-like

the bottom line here is they arent quite ready yet to win these kinds of games. iguodala had some disgraceful moments sandwiched around another solid game.

jrue had a disgusting move to tie it in the 4th, then an idiotic rookie turnover to end it.

they need to be in these games and take the hits in order to eventually win them. i remember okc was in these spots two years ago and they lost most of them. now they win them. the shtein takes time people.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I definitely agree he's the best player on the team, but it's the same shtein every night with him. It's almost always he has a good game and then fargs up when it matters most. I know the team wouldn't be here without him but it's so frustrating. He had had a hell of a game, but obviously misses a huge FT and took a horrible shot (or two?) in the last 1:30 or so.

Made no sense whatsoever.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

iguodala clearly isnt the ideal guy to have the ball at the end of the game...but the problem is hes their best option...you saw what happened when they gave it to their point guard instead...jeru is a really nice player but his strong suit is not taking people off the dribble

at least with andre you have someone whos height gives them vision and the ability to shoot over someone and the strength to body the kind of defense you see in those situations...i honestly didnt think his jumper there was a terrible shot...it was a solid look (not great) and he missed cause hes not a good shooter....again i am not promoting him in that situation at all...all im saying is its easy to say give it to someone else.....but if you do the results arent going to be significantly different

the biggest issue with iguodala is that its to easy to foul him and let him try and beat you at the line...but again ill take two free throws from him over a contested jumper from jeru or lou...lou to me is the only end of game option and maybe on occasion he gets his man but in those situations everyone collapses and hes to small to finish there and if hes on the ball that means it cant be kicked out to him....so then you have lou kicking it to iguodala or some other guy who cant shoot

they are just in a tough situation at the end of games because they dont have any of the above:  a) a world class finisher b) a guy who can at any time take someone off the dribble and break down the defense c) a top notch shooter who the ball can be kicked to....even having one of those three would make a world of difference and almost all good teams have at least one or two....the sixers dont have ANY of em

its so frustrating because what makes them so easy to watch and a good team...depth...spreading the ball around...teamwork...is also what makes them so bad at the end of games

andre miller shtein on iguodala in the 4th quarter and overtime and you're pimping him...awesome
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Hawk

I'd say that they should give the ball to Turner but he gets no respect from the, line.
