wasted the last 4 possessions with contested mid range jumpers. no pick and rolls, no driving, just settling for low percentage shots

if the kid hits these 2 its 6...maybe just maybe they can make it interesting
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Hawk

It's the dunbest argument.   Good scorers are going to score.   Is iguodala a finalist for the olympics because of his three point shooting?

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

and this will continue to be their problem

no closers, no go to guy. very tough to wins these kinds of games where you need someone to step to in the last 3 minutes

The problem is three games in three nights.   Free throws and jump shots aren't falling.  Jrue and Lou will be the closers

That and...

They missed too many open looks tonight
They were dreadful shooting free throws
Lou was horrific

MDS

2 of those things were just...whatever. those things will happen in a long season, especially on the tail end of 3 in a row.

the lou thing is what it is. if lou were better he wouldnt be sitting on the bench while jodie meeks starts. when hes got it going hes a terrific player who can maybe takeover a game. when he doesnt have it going hes as useless as nocioni.

He's become a lot more consistent but he still settles for jumpers too much. He's too fast, and not good enough of a shooter, to always be shooting those 3's right as he brings the ball up. Him and Jrue are the only fargin guys on the team who can make a free throw so he's gonna be crucial.

Hawk

There was a couple brutal calls tonight.   The clear path, the falling out of bounds timeout, and the double tech.

SunMo

no hawes, 3rd game in a row, knicks had an off night and it was still close at the end.

sixers >>> knicks
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

ice grillin you

tony battie 6 pts sweet lou and thad 12 pts combined is not gonna get it done

if you noticed because of tired legs everything was mid range last night...they were terrible from beyond the arc and they couldnt get to the rim...altho i must say i was impressed on how the knicks got out on the sixers defensively...tho im not sure how much of this was the sixers being spent and not being able to take people off the dribble as they normally would....without hawes the knicks also knew the sixers couldnt run their offense from a high post set which limited their options and allowed the knicks to play a lot of their "zone"

hawes was most missed tho not because they didnt have spencer hawes but because they had to play vucevic who was just awful and completely out of his league

and i dont know what sunny is talking about with iguodala...on an empty tank he played carmelo about as good as you can...some of those shots he was making were ridiculous...18 foot fall away jumpers...ill give him that shot everytime and take my chances...he only had a few good looks the whole game....needed 25 shots to score 27 pts and only had one three

harrelson is the one that daggered them...they either didnt repsect him or didnt scout him at all and his threes in the first half killed them and allowed them to get a big lead which pretty much sealed the game...when you are spent like the sixers were you cant expect to come back...they had to get out early and then try and hold on...to much energy is needed to come from that far back

have to wait until march 11 to get the knicks again....its at the garden and there will be no schedule craziness involved

i wonder if dh soiled himself when the strawman came out
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

PhillyPhreak54

Yeah the tired legs were evident....

What was Carmelo; 9-24 or something like that? Like igy said a few of the shots he hit were just crazy. But holding to 9-24 isn't exactly awful.
