I'm not usually vocal on this topic, but it's clearly time for a change. Unfortunately, that's only half the problem.

Here's a question for you-- if you could get rid of EITHER Reid or Banner, who would you get rid of?

I'd go with Banner, because I think he's tougher to get rid of and more of the longer term problem.

its not even close...banner is the devil and runs the team....reid is a good but flawed head coach


but banner goes when lurie sells the team so i dont see that as a discussion topic

its a lot different relationship in that lurie and banner are childhood friends from boston....that said it wouldnt suprise me at all if reid is around for another few years

i guess the one hope for banner leaving would be that he just quits to do something else the ole "pursue other opportunities" but he will never be asked by lurie to leave...

rather than spending my time with an unrealistic hope that banner leaves my wish is for lurie to take a little more control and tell banner to throw howie in a lava pit and hire a real president of football operations...it cant be overstated (and its being underplayed) how historically bad the last two drafts have been...throw in this past offseasons free agent debacle the pimp miscalculation and the vick decision (not the contract but the idea that he was a real nfl qb and your future) and the PP department is pretty much in a shambles and PP is the foundation for everything

I'm actually still okay with Vick. We've seen this season that when he's given time to throw, he can actully make his reads and carve up a defense. Problem is that we saw him do that last year for 5 or 6 games when he DIDN'T have time, but stood in there and still made excellent throws. That was obviously a fliuke. The only difference now between a guy like Vick and the tony romo/jay cutler/etcs of the world is he's a hell of a lot faster when he has to scramble
