i could tell within 5 seconds of him coming to the bench that he had a concussion. never should have been allowed back out there.

and even worse than the penguins as a team getting momentum was that Fluery made a few great saves late in the game, if he gets his head out of his ass this could get ugly
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

yeah the penguins are definitely the better team...the flyers are where they are only because fleury has been so awful....if that changes the pens win the series because they will score no less than four goals a game the rest of the way...which means minimum the flyers need five to win a game

The scary thing I didn't want to see heading into last nights game was a Penguins team that actually relied on their talent to win. They managed for the most part to leave the goon shtein and undisciplined penalties to the wayside and focused on playing. I still think this is over come Friday night in Pittsburgh where the Flyers absolutely own the Pens but we'll see.

i cant see them winning without grossman...the goaltending is all time bad as it is and now their best defenseman is out

this kind of reminds me in the series vs boston where the flyers got gagne back and the bruins lost krejci....flyers lose grossman pens get neal back

i think cooter might be concussed as well from the neal hit....he was skating in jud last ngith and completely lost...which is why malkin went off....thats not a good thing either....all in one night the pens got their goalie back and the league mvp

that was the worst thing about the first awful goal bryz let in by giving up that rebound.  it got malkin a goal, got his confidence back etc.

Settle down, ladies. The Flyers lead the series 3-1 and a desperation blowup by a hyper-talented team had to be expected.

The series may be extended longer than any of us would like but it is beyond unlikely that the Pens win.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

i think the flyers will win in six but a pittsburgh comeback is certainly a legitimate possibility and has a much much better chance of happening than "beyond unlikely"

Well it's happened 4 times in the history of the major north american leagues, so... yeah. Beyond unlikely.

the amount of times it has happened in the past has no effect on the chances of it happening in this particular series

take the boston flyer series....after game four there wasnt a single factor that made you feel even a tiny bit that the flyers could comeback...boston had dominated the first three games....and was even the better team in game four...they had the better team and the better goalie

in this series i think we can all agree the penguins are the better team but have gotten some of the worst goaltending in playoff history....except the team they are playing actually has worse goaltending...so you can make a legit case for a penguins comeback if they just get average goaltending the rest of the way...anti neimi goaltending if you will

Morganti and Coates said the series is going 7 if the Flyers don't win tomorrow night

I'm sure it's just his feelings that are hurt

I'm not even kidding when I say throw Leighton out there, he can't be any worse than Bob/Bryz and he did lead them to a cup two short seasons ago.

I obviously understand all of that. What the only-happened-four-times point illustrates is just how difficult it is to 4 straight elimination games in the playoffs. It isn't proof that it won't happen this time, it's just proof that it's really farging difficult to accomplish.

this is correct but the reason its usually really difficult is because the team is up 3-0 in the first place because they are better

this is a rare case of the better team being down 1-3

ive said i think flyers in 6....all im saying is the penguins have a much better than "beyond unlikely" chance

id say 60-40 odds the flyers win the series

This team has basically no chance to win the Cup. Who cares. Shut up.
