to be fair pens are just a superior team and will probably win the cup much less have trouble with the flyers

but to even have a chance in this series the two things they needed were at least solid play by breezy and a big series by giroux

and in that period breezy was a joke and giroux invisible (while crosby was dominant)


they also simply werent ready for playoff hockey....and thats the youth factor....no matter what they were told it would be like you cant be prepared for playoff hockey...much less on the road against a team of this caliber...and that early onslaught killed them...doesnt exactly hel tho that they have a 51 million dollar veteran goalie thats being paid to bail the team out and hold the fort in times like that who farging sucks ass

and then to pile on when the team finally gets its wits about themselves and plays the last ten minutes very well the POS gives up that late goal

jagr was wide open in the slot and for some reason giroux passes it to hartnell who was covered and had a much worse angle at the net and maguire says giroux does a great job finding him
