I have not thought of him in over 10 years. Pretty funny he was the last Flyers goalie to have three straight shutouts. Funny in a sick, painful way.

This is going to be hard for people to accept but he's not even playing out of his mind. He's just playing good positional goaltending and the defense is actually playing like they give a shtein. You'll know he actually turned the corner for good when he starts stealing games the Flyers have no business winning.

kinda flew under the radar but holmgrens acquisition of grossman has been superb...hes basically replaced pronger and has been the best defenseman on the team since he came here

Couldn't agree more. He was advertised as a shutdown guy and he's living up to that billing.

it's not that hard to understand, it's pretty obvious. and who cares about stealing games, he plays like this in the playoffs and they can make a run

not sure if anyone watched it but the flyers game today was as good as it gets for regular season hockey....had such a playoff feel

I missed the two goals Bryz let in but he was solid as can be for the second half. Then the shootout came and no part of his body or equipment even touched the puck on any of the shootout goals. Sucks too because Read and Giroux beat Thomas who is one of the best shootout goalies in the league.

And just to reiterate on the earlier comments about Grossmann, he might be the most underrated player in the league.
