Much better second period for the skaters.

Bryz still sucks.

Briere, Sestito out. Sestito "lower body injury" following getting his ass kicked in a fight. Briere after being checked along the bench, could explain the idiotic slash, which happened right after. Didn't hear upper or lower, but it worries me if it is anything concussion-related.

According to Bob McKenzie, Briere has a shoulder injury.

Of course, Pronger's was knee surgery...

This is probably going to serve as a jinx but I have this weird optimistic feeling about the Flyers right now. Like things are going to start falling into place.

Between Bryzgalov and the Flyers total incompetence on the power play, I almost lost a television. That may be the worst five minute stretch of hockey I have ever personally witnessed.

The good news is it looks like Lavy has finally seen enough of Bryzgalov to know he's a bum. I hope they send him to the minors and let him rot. They'll still have to pay him his contract but at least it won't count against their cap.

I like Nash but Homer is going to overpay for him...it's his style. I wish there was a team dumb enough to take Bryz.

Players being possibly linked to the Flyers: Nabakov, Nash, Stoll.

All 3 would be a welcome addition but they need a #1 goalie if they want to compete. They're one and done come playoff time with what they've got. Even if they land Nabakov he sucks come playoff time.

It may have been superseded by the first five minutes of the third period. What a freaking disaster.

I don't believe they can. I think he has a non-movement clause.
