yeah i was disappointed in the goalie selections.  not sure why hextall didn't play or richter for that matter, that would have been a great homecoming for him.

I thought I read somewhere (may have been on the PSF board) that Hextall has a back issue that won't allow him to play.

Hextall is obviously the guy you want to get for that game. But if he's ruled out, who else would you have liked to see? The other goalie alumni young enough to play are either still playing pro hockey, playing for the Rangers alumni team, living overseas, general managing the Isles, or died in 1985.

I guess Ken Wregget wasn't available.

i would have easily taken dominic roussel over either of those bums..roman czechmanek is the all time gaa leader for the franchise

perhaps their physical status prevents them but what about

who cares about their age....the game is a joke anyway...the only thing that matters is who you get to see play practical jokes on each other and whos mic'ed up for the game broadcast

i wish he would just have some sort of career ending injury so they could get him off the cap and move on from him....hes never gonna be healthy again and  this play for 20 games miss 15 play for ten miss 30 shtein is an anchor holding back the advancement of the franchise

As long as those 20 games are in April & May who gives a shtein if he plays otherwise?  Dude is vitally important to the success of this team.  Kicking him to the curb now while he still has something left would be fairly disastrous for their Cup hopes.
