How many Eagles/Giants games in the past have been blowouts?  I think the Eagles SHOULD blow their doors off but it rarely happens, hence the tight final score prediction.

The Giants farging suck and when the Eagles jump out to an early 21 point lead, they quit running the ball. Since Eli farging sucks and literally has no one to throw to, they lose big.

Last one was World Series Sunday in 2009.  Didn't the birds just beat them down silly from the opening drive on?  And of course the bums lost to the Yankees that night.

It was only a 12-point margin of victory, but the Eagles upset the #1 seed Giants 23-11 in the playoffs in January 2009 (on their way to GETTING upset by the Cardinals in the NFCCG). It was much more one-sided than the score.

It was less than three years ago but feels like an eternity...

Quote"He is the best quarterback in the NFL," Eagles coach Andy Reid praised his guy. "I don't think I have to say anything more than that."

QuoteFive times New York got inside the Eagles 20. The result? A mere three field goals.

QuoteMcNabb also drew an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty late in the game when he was pushed out of bounds on the Giants sideline, picked up a phone there and had a brief, fake conversation.

But at least some things haven't changed...

QuoteFlushed from the pocket deep in his territory, Manning slung a pass that badly sailed -- right into the hands of cornerback Asante Samuel. It was Samuel's seventh career postseason pick, and he brought it back to the 2.

37-27 eagles. Eli eats cock. Asante scores twice.

Eagles 38
Giants 20

Vick's going to abuse their zesty secondary.

this game is an absolute rout and if it isnt the eagles should throw in the towel for this year

if the offensive line plays decent the eagles may put up a 50 spot....if not it might be a game for a few quarters

44-14 birds

Listen...can you hear it...it's the sound of the towel being thrown in.

I was throwing in the towel before it was cool.

The only hope is that this is a big wake up call. The D came out flat, the offense even flatter. Never got it going and looked like crap in red zone. This looks like a team that let the hype get to their head. Like last week when comments were made that the Falcons knew who the better team was. Well guess what, you overrated fargs are in the NFC East basement, were you belong.

I won't make the mistake of picking the Eagles to win again this season.  I'll be igy-ing it the rest of the way.

Rome

I tried to tell you guys.  I blame myself for the loss.
