Bears reportedly and unsurprisingly about to release RB Chester Taylor.

He was supposed to make $5.5mil this year. He just had knee surgery in June but the Eagles would be nuts if they didn't at least bring him in for a visit and get a look at him.

And the Bears are holding off on cutting Taylor after finding out Marion Barber's calf injury is bad.

Chester Taylor is now (again) getting cut. Only other "name" of note so far is Igor Olshanky being cut by Dallas.

They've been looking to replace him for a couple weeks. They tried to sign Dashon Goldson and also brought Darren Sharper in for a visit.

Doesn't he have a gun charge of some kind hanging over his head?
