Laws was carted off the field and Patterson was taken to the hospital. He went into convulsions. Sever dehydration.

Laws has a hip flexor. Supposedly Maclin is scrawny....really thin. That's not a good thing at all.....

Schefter said it's getting to the point where all remaining free agents want to come to the Eagles and are willing to take less money to do it.

I've heard the opposite, that he actually looks pretty good.

Maclin not practicing, Watkins starting and more

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Jeremy Maclin was back at Eagles training camp.

That was the good news.

The not-so-good news was that he can't practice until he is cleared by doctors for an unspecified illness and that appears to still be a ways off.

"He's not done with his tests so the doctors are still looking at a few things," Eagles coach Andy Reid said. "He's up here, he's in good spirits, he looks good. He's able to do some conditioning things. ... From what he's gone through it looks like he's in good shape."

Maclin is visibly thinner than he was early in the summer when he was participating in informal workouts with other Eagles in Malton, N.J. He said then that he regained most of the weight he had lost a few months earlier after experiencing mono-like symptoms.

The Eagles wide receiver won't speak with reporters until he returns to practice. That could be some time.

Hopefully he hasn't lost so much weight that he can't get back to his normal playing weight by the regular season. What's concerning with a guy like Maclin is that when he drops weight, it's muscle mass.

Here's a shock

Abiamiri is on crutches and in a walking boot after suffering a foot injury

QuotePatterson update: probably staying overnight at hospital, wife with him, no fluid found on brain, lacerated tongue, awaiting neurology tests

Apparently, the players were all shaken up because he started bleeding from the mouth from the tongue laceration during the seizure. I can imagine how scary that was.

And thinking of Jarret, with the DBs they have now, he's is going to be in the box more often than not.
That's what she said.

hbionic

Ah...I understand now.

This is common in sports and in particular soccer. For some reason, soccer players recognize when a player is suffering from a seizure and will commonly grab and pull the guy's tongue so he doesn't swallow it...but now thinking about it...it would be hard to prevent a player from biting on his own tongue during that scenario because of the force exacted from the jaw.

He also had his helmet on while he was convulsing from what I've read.

Apparently Fireman Watkins gave him CPR on the field.  <3

Don Ho

Paramedic/Firefighter always good to have on the field during two a days (well one a day plus walk through).
