Supposedly Chauncey Billups will sign a one year deal with the Sixers, I like it.

Saw this on probasketballtalk.com, wonder if it was a typo and they meant Spencer Hawes.

Guess it was a typo because now it says Spencer Hawes.

Except he'd be playing in Bed-Stuy...

where the arena is means next to nothing...especially in this case when its across the river from the greatest city on the planet and the marketing capital of the world

but even if you think playing there three hours a nite for 41 nights of the year means anything its still appeals to people more than almost any other entire city in the country

philly inferiority complex creepin back up

kind of odd for someone from jersey shore/florida everglades but i aint about to tell rome how to think
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

theres a better chance of you not being an irritating middle aged weirdo than dwight howard playing for the sixers, yes.

Pretty sure you're only 5-6 years younger, lifewaste.

Kate Fagan is leaving the Inky for ESPN...I wonder who will get that beat now? Resume in, Todd?

I can't wait for the season. Fagan said that ET looked really good in the scrimmage today

MDS

for now theyll have to go in house....odds are itll stay that way

the question is are they replacing the position. and the answer is...i dont know.

thats a shame fagan was great....espn is like walmart....roll into broke weak small towns and gobble them up only to spit them out...fagan will not even be an espn employee in five years

Yep...she was awesome on that beat.

ESPN hired Ashley Fox and Dana Penett O'Neill and I never hear anything from them. All I see Fox tweet about it some debates she has with John Clayton, who has quickly become a nothing there himself.

MDS

shes doing the espnw thing...so shell kind of be a star for that, which will probably be a failure but espn will keep doing and keep paying her more than the inqy was.

and she was terrific and does leave very big shoes to fill.

o'neill i see from time to time do stories on big 5 stuff that no one really reads outside of philly. i get the move for the paycheck, i would do the same thing, but its so easy to get lost in espn if youre not simmons or adam schefter or something.

ESPN should hire Marcus Hayes and stick him on WNBA and the spelling bee

MDS

that dude is so angry and fat, its ridiculous
