theyve wanted to jet him for forever and just threw this cash at thad. its pretty obvious whats happening. the thing is theyll have a good half season to look at hawes to see if hes improved. if he is, maybe you trade igy for outside shooting, not size.

im probably being overly homeristic, but i don't know why the Sixers wouldn't be on Howard's list of teams to get traded to.

obviously the Lakers with or without CP3 blow the sixers away, but the Nets?  Darren Williams won't even commit to staying there.

You put howard on the sixers (theoretically subtracting Iggy and maybe ET) and you have a legit contender with jrue as your pg and thad at the 3.

I agree with all of this and when I saw the Nets on the list I was also curious as to why that was a desirable landing spot. If I'm the Sixers I trade the house for him then do whatever it takes to re-sign him. Hell, give him a percentage of the franchise if need be. He'd rejuvenate the Sixers fan base overnight.

He's already a star and he'd be just as big of not a bigger star in Philly. You trade Iguodala or whatever and his awful contract and there's room. The Magic are just looking for the best deal they can get at this point.
