Hahahahaha......I was wondering the same thing.  Shouldn't he be banned for using PED's?  If not, they should at least have the decency of changing his name to something more appropriate like Roidger Rabbit.

Just getting rid of the mascot will suffice.  Mascots in general are bad.  What's worse though is teams who have a mascot that has nothing to do with the team's moniker.   The Eagles have Swoop.  He's a terrible mascot, but he makes sense because he's an Eagle.  WTF does a roided up rabbit have to do with the year that the Declaration of Independence was signed?  It was strictly a marketing tool used to target suburban white kids.

Of course, there are exceptions to every rule and in this case, there are 2 exceptions.  The Phanatic and the SD Chicken.  No one knows exactly what the Phanatic is, but he's awesome.  And I have no clue how a chicken ties into the Padres, but it works.
