if i had vote i vote for bonds, mcgwire, etc. we arent the morality police. the era was the era. they deserve to be in, its the hall's call how to handle the ceremony, plaque. its a baseball history palace, not a selective representation of just the good of the game.

So is Thome but mostly because he's probably the only power hitter of his generation who did it fair & square.

Vizquel gets in after a one year wait and so does Pudge.  The rest = probably not (although LARRY Jones probably will because he's one of the Braves 90's dynasty girls).

The rest... no.

If Damon gets to 3,000, he's in easily.

im gonna trust the voters to do the right thing...they also have an out now as people like palmeiro are gonna have 3000 but not make it because of roids...maybe then they wont feel like they have to go by the stupid unwritten rule that certain milestones get you in

damon has had a very very good career but when it comes down to it hes basically a slap hitting singles hitter with a terrible arm and thats not HOF material no matter what his great numbers say
