yea, nothing like a cy young who cant pitch into the 8th inning.

between him and damaged goods josh johnson id say roy halladay is the 5th or 6th best starter in the nl east.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

the al east is + 145 in run differential
only one other division is in positive territory

Had a Rome moment when I saw on the College World Series that Carl Yastrzemski's grandson Mike plays for Vanderbilt.  It's bad enough when I see the sons of the 90s players, but now I'm seeing the grandsons of guys that played into the 80s...

Don Ho

Grandson?  Good god I'm getting old.  Fast.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

Rome

I was going over the standings and noticed the Nationals have won eight straight games.

Haven't heard a single peep about it on ESPN or elsewhere.

Wow.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Damn Liberal media trying to ignore the heroes in Washington!

Rodriguez resigned as Marlins manager. That didn't take long.

Paging Joe Torre...

I think Ozzie Guillen could end up there after the season

They lost again today.  10 in a row and 1-18 in June

btw potential big news for the next Phils series: Pujols had his wrist bent backwards by the batter running up the line and left the game in the 6th

unless he went 3-3 in the first inning i think he lasted longer than that

tighten your shtein up easy

Talk down here is that 80-year-old Jack McKeon may be the interim manager.
