Good thing you're all asleep.  Lidge about to give this one away.

Wow...Carl Lewis throws better. Lidge bounced that a good 5 feet in front of the plate.

Those 45 min flights are a killer. Luckily the Dodgers are terrible because the pen tried giving that away. Oh well, win #75 is in the books.

Munson

knock on wood but this team reminds me a lot of the 08 team. They just seem to get things done, even when you think they're about to blow it.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Doyer stadium is a mixed bag-- great retro feel combined with  a compartmentalized nazi level system. I also accidently had a $45 dinner. But a fun game. And that's it for the trip. Back to Mexico tomorrow.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Thought you were there.  Was there really 30,000 people there?

The weather in LA and the bay area must have felt like the artic compared to Texas the past two months.

It looked like there might have been 20K at the stadium.  I don't think I can ever remember seeing it that empty, not even after the 94 strike.

Nice job, L.A.  Way to support your team in the good times and better times.  iceholes.

I'm glad Victorino didn't start serving his suspension right away.

It's not in me to defend Dodger fans, but they are practically boycotting the team because of McCourt more than anything else.  Like Todd said, going to Dodger Stadium is iike going into a police state these days.  Because of the Brian Stowe beating, there's a brigade of police officers at the stadium now and a lot of people just aren't going.
