Expectations for the rest of the season/what you'd be happy with?

At this point I expect them to win the division.  I'm in between the rest being gravy and expecting a first rd win.

General_Failure

Taking the division and a first round win would be nice. After that, all I want to see is a competitive loss in the second round. I really don't want to see another NFCCG loss.

if you get in the playoffs i dont see why the expectations wouldnt be anything less than making the superbowl.....i just wish seattle wasnt so good this year....a great seattle team combined with that homefield is really tough....but in general in todays nfl pretty much anyone can beat anyone in the playoffs

plus with no more andy or the bedwetter for the first time since clinton was president and chip already having exceeded expectaions why the hell not

Eagles/Bears flexed to the Sunday nighter

Clap your hands everybody, everybody clap your hands!  This is great! I was not in the mood to go the local bar as it's full of Midway misfits.

new orleans too.  i was rooting for carolina in that game because new orleans is incredibly beatable when they're on the road but not so much at home.  even though it would've given the eagles a harder first round game potentially, i'd rather see them travel to carolina in rd2 then new orleans.

Would we rather go to Seattle or New Orleans? Sick part is, imo to make the Super Bowl we will have to do both...

Rome

Got my playoff invoice today.   $650 for two games.

first of all its not "we"

secondly its not even a close choice.....seattle has beaten new orleans by 27 and san fran by 26 up there

eagles wont win at either place but at least at new orleans they could maybe win a shootout

I think the "best" road factoring in a Saints NFC South title would be Carolina, then @New Orleans, and then hope SF beats Detroit and can pull off a miracle in Seattle before coming to Philly.

def agree with this....carolina doesnt scare me a bit....even were that game at carolina its a 50/50 game to me

if carolina holds serve against new orleans and they both win their other two games (they both should) it would come to common opponents for the division but i dont feel like looking it up

Haha yeah that's my Uncle. I posted a link in the random musings thread. It's an awesome place, and despite our frowning upon shoulder pads here, he's a really nice guy and a huge fan. Definitely deserves to win.

I don't think Westy's ever been up there, but I know the Magician has been.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds
