I don't understand the hate on Cole?

No hate but when is the last time he made a big play? Had a sack?

Not sure, I don't memorize every goddamn game like you idiots do.  I've seen four or five of the games this year and the only dudes I've seen putting any pressure on the QB are Cole, Barwin, and Curry.  I've also seen Cole play some decent run D, as he has always done.  Is he racking up sacks, no...but tell me when was he not solid?

Cole has made a much better 3-4 OLB than he had rights to at his age, and he's played better than most on the defensive squad this year.  Of all the guys on D, Trent farging Cole is the least of my worries.  Not saying he should be a starter, but for farg sake...Brandon Graham, okay?  Nate Allen.  Kurt Coleman.  Whatsihsname from the Rams.  The list goes on.

Bitching about Cole is stupid.

He's had no sacks and very few tackles. His problems magnify everyone else's problems. For comparison, DeMeco Ryans, Nate Allen, Cary Williams, Cedric Thornton, and Connor Barwin all have both more sacks and tackles than Cole right now. He's got two forced fumbles to his credit, so he's got that going for him, but he's higher up on the problem list than you think.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Sopoaga might have been the worst starter on the lowest ranked defense in the NFL. Addition by subtraction.

Didinger said this morning he was just awful.  It was almost as if he quit against the Giants on Sunday.  Great FA signing bringing in a 10 year veteran nose tackle.  Little of what I saw of Sopoaga on the birds was not good.  He won't do squat in NE.  He's done.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Can't imagine why anyone would boo them especially after losing 10 straight games at home.
