This is quickly starting to look like the '05 team that got off to a good start and then disintegrated. Once it became completely apparent the season was doomed players were dropping like flies and the Dline was nonexistent. I don't think anybody wanted to be on the field in the last few games and probably close to half the starters ended up on IR. Then Reid was coming off a SB appearance. iirc, he isn't this season.

The Phillies have won more recently than the Eagles.

Yeah, but who's more likely to get another win first? Well, the Phillies probably.

The o-line is a joke. Vick was getting hit on handoffs.

Quote@espn_nfcwest: Noticing Alex Smith has 19 attempts under duress or while getting hit. NFL low among 33 qualifying QBs. Bradford 41. Vick 80.

Eskin is pushing the Gruden wants to come back and the Eagles may be that team.

Also - the Indianapolis Eagles are going to be 6-3.

Told you last year they should have tanked for Luck

He's better than your wildest dreams could have imagined
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Gruden would want full control which he didn't get in Tampa or OTown. I thought a warm climate team was on his radar only.
"And with 1:16 remaining this place is in a state of shock!"

I'd rather pass on Gruden. If they're going retread I'd take a shot at Cowher. Number 1 priorty should be Payton but I haven't been following his situation close enough to know if he's an actual option.

I like Perry Fewell and wouldn't mind seeing him here.

Chip Kelly is getting a lot of mention but I can't see him leaving Oregon.

Payton will probably ink a new deal with the Saints the minute he's eligible to return to the league.  He's working as some sort of "consultant" for the Hornets right now since both teams are owned by the same dude (Benson I think?).

A switch to the 3-4 would be pretty arduous. Then again, a change to any actual defense of value would probably be arduous.
