The first sentence of the story is weird too.

If they were drinking truth serum down at the NovaCare, instead of the usual mix of delusion and denial, the Eagles would admit that they shouldn't have drafted Danny Watkins in the first round of the 2011 draft.

I thought truth serum was injected. I don't know what the usual injection mix at NovaCare is, at least since Garrett Reid died.

I didn't read the entire article and haven't noticed him on the field of play but I'd be in favor of starting him in place of Babin.

Upon hearing of Roseman's extension, and after last night's debacle, I seriously considering abandoning this team. I might not watch football at all for a year or more, then pick a god damned AFC team to root for. The Roseman extension signifies to me that Lurie is oblivious to what is the actual cause for this teams failures, and he's essentially committed the "rebuild" process to failure by putting Roseman in charge of it.

I realize that 4/5th's of the OL was out last night and the fact that they did not adjust to that and keep running or shortening Vick's drops was insane. Shady did not have a 3Q carry, right?

This team was always great at the plug and play when guys went down. Reid always had a stable of capable backup OL and would stockpile them much to our chagrin. They have gone away from that (Hi, Howie) and its biting them in the ass.

But for Marty and Andy to not say "hey ya know we should help these guys out and run more, throw screens and 3-5 step quick reads" is disgusting.

Winston Justice, AQ Shipley and Mike McGlynn - all castoffs - would be great improvements over what they have now.
