They'll definitely have two drives in the first quarter this week, right?

Ha, I've read a lot of those team capsules over the last few weeks and he usually has to wildly exaggerate to make it funny but that entire article is 100% truth.

There is guaranteed to be at least one game this year in which the Eagles are down by between four and eight points and the following sequence takes place:

    Quarter: 4, time 1:10

    1st and 10, Eagles ball, opposition 15
    M. Vick passes incomplete left to J. Maclin (1:02)

    2nd and 10, Eagles ball, opposition 15
    M. Vick passes incomplete middle to B. Celek (0:55)

    3rd and 10, Eagles ball, opposition 15
    M. Vick SACKED for -7 yards, FUMBLES. Ball recovered by Eagles (T. Herremans). (0:44)
    M. Vick INJURED, will not return.
Eagles CHALLENGE ball spot. Call upheld, Eagles charged with timeout.

    4th and 17, Eagles ball, opposition 22
    N. Foles passes complete middle to J. Avant for 18 yards. FIRST DOWN. (0:35).
    Eagles timeout

1st and goal, Eagles ball, opposition 1
    L. McCoy runs up middle for no gain. (0:30)

2nd and goal, Eagles ball, opposition 1
    L. McCoy runs up middle for no gain (0:15)
    Eagles timeout

3rd and goal, Eagles ball, opposition 1
    L. McCoy runs up middle for no gain (0:09)

Time expires, end of game. Eagles lose.

So Goddell and Troy Vincent are up here today to announce a new relationship between the NFL and the Army to help with the concussion problems. After a few speeches, the media was allowed to ask questions. The questions were directed to a moderator, who commented, before giving the floor to the panel, which also included General Odierno. One of the last questions went as follows:

"Troy, I'm an Eagles fan - was the surface at Veterans Stadium worse for concussions than the current field at LFF?" Before letting Vincent answer, the moderator responds "before answering that question Troy, I'd like to ask General Odierno if it is indeed true that Eagles fans are worse than the Taliban."

If you had access to rocket launchers, and someone told you it was okay, wouldn't you kill somebody? C'mon now.

Jets scored a touchdown. True story. http://on.nfl.com/NYJvPHI

Boo, fire Castillo, etc.

They might have to look for that Kafka trade sooner than I thought.

Trent Edwards hasn't played against a goddamn decent starter yet, but I'll say this about Captain Checkdown... the guy can move an offense against guys who will be working at Best Buy next Monday.

Buh bye Kafka.

Go head Lurie.....

Both surprised and impressed with Lurie flat out saying Reid is gone if he doesn't perform. I can't even remember Al Davis or Snyder saying something that concrete that before the season begins.

I'm looking forward to 10-6, a first round playoff loss, and an Andy Reid extension to 2017.

I prefer the simple yet classic nfccg loss.
Good times.

I was actually quite proud myself.
