i wouldnt worry about it.....the next rookie qb that doesnt have happy feet will be the first....and it comes with a 97% correction rate

In his defense I wouldn't be surprised if Foles was coached to keep plenty of room between him and the rush (from the few plays I've seen). It is exactly how Vick almost broke his hand and Foles has a strong enough arm to compensate.

Vick hit his hand because Kelce got thrown right back into him and as the pocket was collapsing he didn't move out of the way. Any QB could hit his hand like that.

I went back and checked out the Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagle thread earlier to see what people thought, and I was surprised that most were at most "meh" on it. No one outright bashing the pick. The worst was IGY (who on the whole was okay with Foles at the time):

hence why he was a terrible pick at that point...the only possible way you could justify taking him is if you thought he was gonna up grade the back up qb position next year...and that clearly isnt happening

i wanted 11 defensive players picked....which is why iw as against him....even right now i dont think they needed foles at that point...

i also dont quite understand going back and looking at how people felt about any of the picks from this year...foles could be out of the league in two years or he could be the eagles future....it seems like you are insinuating that hes proved to be a good draft pick because hes had a good preseason

Quite the opposite. I was saying everyone in the thread was pretty down the middle on it, including you. No one "killed" the pick. I usually like to go back and see both sides, homers and haters, that say a pick is a sure-fire HOF or a definite bust.

i love doing that myself....but normally ill do it five years later not five months...when you have a true sense of how the pick ended up
