Second hand info so take it fwiw but my doctor friend is friends with an Eagles trainer, Pimp has a sports hernia. They're taking it week by week but he's probably not playing again this season. If he does play it's in a limited role.

It was reported that he was recommended surgery by a doctor, but he got a second opinion. Surgery would have kept him out for like half the season, if it's actually a sports hernia.

If he's going non-surgical, it's kind of a roll of the dice. Could come back sooner, but if there's no improvement he could end up needing the surgery anyway and would be done.
