i like billy brown...watched as much film of him as i could after they signed him and i think with a year on the practice squad he could come out of it and be TE3 next year when celek is gone...could really fit in in todays nfl where there is such a fine line between the WR and TE position

Blount is reportedly overweight and out of shape and hasn't looked good in camp. He looked ok in the preseason games, stats don't tell the whole story because the O line was getting blown apart on running plays and Dougie genius kept running him on sweeps.

blount is a bust waiting to happen...this isn't the patriot's offense...and that's the only place he's had any real success.  i expect to see a whole lot of rbbc.  good thing the o-line is ranked #2 or whatever...right?

i dont know how seriously to take those specific plays, whether they were doug being a meathead footbaw coach (it didnt work so run it again) or if hes that stupid. maybe both.

blount had a few good runs inbetween in the tackles. i think he can still be productive there and in short yardage. but thats it.

I'm not sure how to evaluate the Eagles RB situation based on what we've seen so far in the preseason. The run blocking has been awful, the playcalls for Blount have been weird, and Smallwood hasn't been out there. Pumphrey hasn't been lighting the world on fire either.
