Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

What...you're telling me there is something wrong with jive?!

QuoteWhile this term has traditionally been used with the negative connotation of racist overtones, "Shuck and Jive" is also used neutrally in American vernacular as a slang term for obfuscation, distraction and avoidance of responsibility.

i know youre not racist, but probably just dont use it about a black guy

What's scarier is his implication that his system is what matters

He says the team has Super Bowl talent, so logically the extent to which they don't achieve that goal must be a direct reflection of his coaching abilities.

I hope Howie is on the phone to the Chargers to see how interested they might be in Jordan Matthews.

I would keep Jordan unless I could get a solid starting CB and that's not happening. I doubt he'd bring much in trade value but I could be wrong. He's a decent 2 and very solid 3. He's in a contract year and I think he's undervalued and can be re-signed at a good price if SantaHowie has learned anything.

Without Williams, I think the Chargers might still have 3 WRs (and maybe 4) more valuable than Matthews.

Agreed. Keenan Allen is a legit #1 WR. Problem is he can't stay health. Travis Benjamin is a solid #2. Tyrell Williams was a 1000 yard receiver last season. They have other guys like Inman too who stepped up when Allen got hurt. He had something like 800 yards receiving in a limited role. I don't fault the Chargers for drafting Williams, they went (in their mind) bpa, and their #1 just can't stay healthy. That being said they have zero need for Matthews.

I'd like to hold onto Matthews. Jeffrey is a great talent but has injury issues, who knows what to expect from Smith. Then you're left with Agholor and a bunch of rookies.
