took a look at the 2017 opponents

1. thinking 6/8 home games are going to be 100 jawns next year...the opponents give very little wiggle room
2. 1 cowboys game will be snf (probably home), 1 giants will be primetime.
3. 2/3 of these games will be pulled to primetime: 1 of the wash games, oakland, denver, @seattle, @kc
4. id bet they end the season with the giants. tv wont let them play wash and id guess the non-snf dallas game goes 425 main.

Pretty much all of the "hope hype" with the Eagles is because they're the only team out of those 3 who appear to have their QB set for the next decade.  It's a QB driven league, so teams that have 1 (or think they have 1) are always going to be considered as heading in the right direction.  And regardless of what you think of Pederson, the Eagles will also be the only of those 3 teams that will not have a coaching change. 

I'm not saying that the Eagles going to be significantly better next year, but there's really no denying that of those 3 teams TODAY, the Eagles are more likely to be on an upward trend while the other 2 are looking to be taking steps backwards.

well ford is only talking about next year as he is referring to how pederson and all the players having been talking about how close they are

its basically a coin flip as to who is the better of those three teams next year...all three could win five or could win ten (like almost all nfl teams)...right now id say buffalo is probably in the best position for just next year...they have the best roster the weakest division and got rid of their biggest negative which was their coach....the eagles keeping their coach actually hurts them....whoever is coaching buffalo and new orleans next year will be better than doug

The Eagles could win 9-10 games next year if Wentz makes a jump and they find someone for him to throw to other than Ertz for the last 1/4 of the year once they're already eliminated.  That being said if they get good it'll likely be in spite of pederson which puts them at a disadvantage.

I will say looking at this draft class and obviously in light of what they got back for Bradford I'm very happy with picking Wentz last year.  This class looks rough.

Maybe. It's a fleshpop move to DeFilippo if not, but it's the Eagles right to deny him the interview since both OC and QB coach are considered just assistant jobs.
