Degenerative back issues is really redundant. All back issues are degenerative, even more so when supporting a 300+ lb body and playing fooseball.  A perfectly healthy back degenerates over time. And an injury or 2 plus a physically destructive career like OT into the mix and you're just expediting the process.

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy was asked how Tyrod Taylor would do with his old team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

"He would kill it," Buffalo Bills running back McCoy said per Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ Advance Media.

The Bills starting quarterback wanted to come to Philadelphia this past offseason, but head coach Chip Kelly wasn't interested.

Instead, the Eagles signed Tim Tebow, who was released at the end of training camp.

This stat nerd list of Pro Bowl caliber players at PFF largely agrees with the eye test this year.

The only Pro Bowl level players on the Eagles are Cox and Jenkins, according to that list. Sounds about right.

If we were in the Ed Reed era with elite free safeties I would agree that Jenkins shouldn't be on there, but the competition is really weak at the position and Jenkins has been solid.

Kurt Coleman made their list, that's how rough the FS situation is in the NFL.
