I was talking to a buddy about the birds today and we were discussing what a disappointment Ertz has been, the guy has been completely invisible.  You'd think old dink and dunk Sammy would be looking for his safety net all game.  Was just expecting a big year from the guy.  Yes it's still early but haven't seen anything to get excited about regarding Ertz.  Guess he's just blended in with the rest of the anemic offense.

he went from being the 4th or 5th best pass catcher on the team to being the first or second....no pimp no mack no shady anymore....shtein farging garbage ass kkk had something like 60 catches and 8 td's with talent around him...back then jason avant was a really good slot wr and an excellent complement to the offense....now jason avant is their best wr

i really like ertz and think he could be a very good te but he he needs help...hes not a witten who will consistently get his by himself

i also think part of it is chip overvaluing blocking....hes not a a blocking te and never will be...utilize him for what he does best...running down the field and catching the ball...chip drafted him knowing who he was and ever since has tried to put a square peg into a round hole...i understand trying to imporve your blocking but at some point you just have to realize who the player is and get the most out of him by letting him do what hes best at...instead chip limits his snaps because he cant block

Ertz is indeed a terrible blocker. They should move him to guard, as he completely fits the apparent scheme.
