I know it's 5/40 but dunno how easy it would be after the year for the Eagles to cut bait.  If they can get the niners to eat some $ and can cut him after next season then it doesn't bother me.  If they can't do that I'm not interested at that price.

An even player swap like Smith-for-Agholor would be okay, but I don't like losing another draft pick for an obviously sighted change. I just doesn't make sense. And I keep seeing Treggs' name getting mentioned, but they don't appear to be interested in using him as a speed guy. I think I'd rather work on getting him some snaps at this point.

I get the idea of adding speed because they don't have anyone who can create separation and/or catch cocnsistently...but it's a moot point if they can't protect Wentz from pressure for more than a second or two.

if smith's contract wasnt a disaster it would be one thing...but it is. unless theres something in there that allows them to get out of it or if the CBA allows for san fran to eat a lot of it, i dont see how its worth it.
