If the Browns have a compensatory pick in the 4th, it belongs to the Eagles. If they have multiple, the Eagles get the highest. If they have none, Eagles get the Browns 5th.

The Sam trade may have stayed the execution. The Eagles being at a Philly draft with no first round pick after winning 3 games would have been too much heat to withstand. Still will be nasty if the Browns pick 1 and 2.

howie is starting along side a super inexperienced rookie coach and a super inexperienced rookie future franchise qb (plus made multiple deals to get him) in the same season....i dont see any scenario where he doesnt get at least three seasons with them...i think pederson could implode and be gone before three years but i im 99% sure pederson is luries hire not howies...so i could then see howie saying lets get a real coach in here to work with our future franchise qb

the wild card is what happens if wentz after two years appears hopeless...then i could see howie on the hot seat in jan 2018....but definitely not before then
