Not expecting the offense to change much from last year. Maybe/hopefully some O-line depth and a 3rd RB. Foles remains the QB because they have no other options.

I literally will not watch if that's the case. What's the point. I'll just watch 10 seconds of 'highlights' on sports center and save myself the anguish and time.

Don't know what big changes you're expecting from the offense. We'd all love a QB but that position is such a premium I wouldn't expect much more than drafting a guy in the mid rounds. They'll probably overpay for Maclin. Good for him, he seems like a good dude and played on a shtein deal so he could get a big payday. The f/a WR class is deep but I can't see them paying more for Dez/D Thomas/R Cobb etc.

#1 priority should be a CB. Talib and Revis were out there last season but they had no interest. With $15 million under the cap how you don't have interest is a mystery.

Know your role, 80 catch 1300 yard receiver.

there is probably 25-30 #2 or 3 wr's around the league who if you put in the #1 slot in chips offense with kkk #2 and jordan matthews 3 who would put up equal or better numbers

some day this board will understand nfl offensive numbers and realize how they are mostly worthless in todays game...until then I will continue to slam my head into concrete walls

The real mystery here is that you thinking Howie not spending $$$ is a mystery.

QB Eagles

They will get a #2 WR coming off a down year, like Crabtree or Cecil Shorts. They'll draft a lineman. They'll bring in a crappy FA QB to be the new backup, if it's not Sanchez again. That's about it.

PhillyPhreak54

So you think they'll dump KKKooper?

What's the cap hit?

I really hope they get a shot at Kaepernick

If they draft one then I want Boykin from TCU

put aside for a second whether they even like him as a prospect....is jameis off their board because of the off the field stuff?

What do you think?

If Jaccpot wasn't allowed back...you think this guy is going to get a whiff of the smoothies at camp?

I mean you are probably right....but perhaps they go into the offseason process with an open mind that maybe he is just young and dumb and under chip he can be molded....thats what chip did with josh huff and hes his favorite....

pimp is a little different in that hes a veteran who chip got to actually coach for a year

Chip's college experience plus now having two pro seasons under his belt could be good for handling Jameis. But where he will really be successful is in a veteran locker room where he's pressured to be accountable. Do the Eagles have this? I'm not so sure.

Put aside the potential off field stuff and immaturity - Winston has the size and speed to run Chip's system.

If they like him and think he will be able to be successful hopefully he slips and they can get him in the late 2nd or early 3rd (trade up).

Cooper will be here next year, his contract is awful. Ryans and Cary Williams could both be gone however, freeing up $13.4 mil. Mr September Trent Cole would be another $8.4 mil.

The man. The myth. The legend.

We were taking about this possibility today. I know  Winston has to grow up but if he falls to them what should the eagles do ? I say go for it. Along with chip, I think there is enough veteran leadership on the offense to keep him focused. If not ? Well that'll eat a big one but take the chance.

QB Eagles

I think if they want what he can bring on the field (and I don't know if they do or not), then he is on the board somewhere. Chip doesn't want his career going down in flames over never getting an adequate QB.

I'd prefer to not torpedo a second rounder but Andy routinely did it and was still relatively successful...as if that's comforting.

And despite my thinking that Jameis is incredibly immature I also know that he's a kid and kids do stupid shtein. So I think I'd take a shot provided they vetted him thoroughly.

His measureables are off the charts...he has the arm strength and size and speed and he's won games. Desperation creates opportunities that normally wouldn't exist so I'd take a shot.

I wonder what they'll do with Demeco? I'd bring him back at a cheaper number. I'd probably bring Cary back too.
