some woman at my wife's work got caught doing this a few months ago...i honestly don't understand how these people think they can get away with it
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

PhillyPhreak54

Yeah really - especially the ones who do it to their own accounts.

Enjoy your 30yrs in the federal pen, pal.

because they do, for 6 months.  Then an audit typically occurs and its oh ish time.  I'll never understand how short sighted they can be, but it happens all the time.

Rome

how do you lose 225K from your bank account and not notice?

and lol at sd's comment.

PhillyPhreak54

because rich people have so much they don't notice - he probably hasn't looked at his account regularly - its all a financial advisor

Figure he ended up with half of that after taxes, commissions, etc.  That's six million.  Figure he spent $250K of it each year living the ridiculous lifestyle those morons live.  That leaves 4.5 million.  10% of his available stash is $450K.  1/2 of that is what he lost track of.  I'm assuming the money that went missing is 5% of the total dough he took home with him after six years of work.

That's a shteinload of dough, even to you, Richie Rich.

PhillyPhreak54

Yeah but he's probably on some sort of allowance system in the sense that pay checks go into an account and then parsed out to other accounts from his main account.

Rome

Oh, no doubt.   I'm just saying that if it were me I'd at least have a monthly review of my nut.   It's not like this is Bill Gates or Warren Buffett where a quarter million is an afterthought.

PhillyPhreak54

True

I can see this guy saying yeah I'm gonna totally get away with transferring $225k to my own acct!

Bet that it comes out he'd been in AC and Sugar house like crazy

Geowhizzer

So... now Herremans can't even keep his bank account from being sacked?

ice grillin you

the guy took less than three game checks worth of money over a three year period....that aint shtein
