Who's their competition? New York Giants, Oakland, J-Ville, Buffalo, Tampa, Houston, St. Louis, Atlanta, Minny, Detroit? That's off the top of my head. Given that group, I'd say, 5 of those teams need a QB in the worst way. It doesn't look good for the iggles unless they can figure out how to get good at being bad.

I could see Tampa sticking with Glennon and waiting until 2015 for another QB (or 2016 for Rome's boy Jameis)

Does Oakland stick with Pryor or do they go QB too?  They have so many needs

The Giants, Bills, Falcons and Lions aren't going QB unless something drastic happens

Schaub, Bradford and Ponder/Freeman?  I think those teams have bigger issues than QB but I wouldn't rule them out

After Teddy B, you've got Hundley, Mariota, Boyd, Manziel and Mettenberger that could all go in the 1st, then there's Aaron Murray and David Carr's bro that will probably go in the 2nd.  At least one of these guys will be available when the Eagles are picking

Mentioned it before, the problem is the Eagles are going to have to use a lot of their draft resources at moving up to take a QB. Probably have to package a 1st and 2nd to move up.

They can probably address their DBs in free agency. I'm honestly not as down on their Dbs as some, sure their safeties need to be upgraded but their pass rush is the bigger problem.

realistically, if you think chip is capable, they are 2-3 years away from even being able to compile the talent to win a title

get the qb first and then worry about the god awful secondary

also manzell hates college and doesnt particularly like texas am either...i think his knee almost imploding a couple weeks ago and his shoulder this week is going to push him...plus theres the matt barkley factor....i would be floored if he stayed

I'll say this, Barkley's arm was impressive.  Where he threw 4 of his passes was not.  But from a mechanics standpoint, he had that tight throw, and its a quick delivery.  Obviously he was awful at picking up how zone D's work.

Prior to his shoulder injury, I always thought he had a decent arm., but his accuracy was where he stood out.  He looked like ish last year, and even in the preseason.  Barkley I dont think is the answer either, but I'm willing to give it a try.  Foles on Sunday before the injury looked about as bad as a qb as one can be.  He reminds me of a flyers backup goaltender.
