The offensive line, as intended at the beginning of the year, does not need an overhaul if everyone is expected to be healthy next year. Not saying that it would be a monster O line, but it would at least be a competent O line.

The more I watch these scrubs along the oline, the more I realize how much we took Runyan, Tra, etc for granted.

SunMo

tra especially...everyone loved Runyan for the late hits and he spoke his mind and went on wip.  tra just kept his head down and had a great career protecting 5's blindside
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

I'd rather have a taco that shteins ice cream but we can't all get what we want

I just saw the Eagles play on the road against the NFC South team that finishes in the same position as the Eagles. At least I have something to root for now - if there's one thing we all need about now, it's a trip to the Big Easy.

Dillen... the fact that these scrubs suck isn't the point.  The point is this regime picked these scrubs and now they have a young kid starting behind them with the prospects of his getting his head ripped off a distinct possibility.  That's disturbing.
I don't know, I guess I just think that most teams don't heavily invest in their backup OL... Considering they're not supposed to be playing. You can blame this team for basically anything you want, but I don't think having a bunch of zesty backup OL is worth the time.

in general i agree with your premise but when its this bad...four or five guys who cant play at all then its definitely worthy of criticism....one of andys hallmarks was always excellent OL depth and he got lots of credit for it and deservedly so....now he deserves massive criticism for this mess

the problem is they coaxed a 1000 year old relic out of retirement to run the OL and he just doesnt care.....i mean hes a system guy who didnt work the offseason camps to implement a system...at this stage of his career you really think hes gonna put in work to develop young OL on the roster....thats what juan used to do - put in massive time with these guys...mudd sits on a golf cart points his cane at players and yells run my system

They're 20 million under the cap but didn't invest or trade for competent backups nor did they actually draft starters who don't outright suck.

Awesome.

Get Castillo?

Sgt PSN

I'd have zero problem with Juan coaching the o line again.

Saw that on their FB update.  This might be the lamest team in the league when it comes to their PR.  Would be nice if they could make a banner with a Lombardi Trophy on it.

they turned up the music volume on sunday to try and drown out the fire andy chants

this was their explanantion via their pr guy dave zeigler.....its actually pretty awesome

Quote"Well, we had the sound up, but it was for a different reason. We travel obviously to everyone else's stadiums for the away games. We take notes on what seems to work at other ballparks, see what we want to apply here. Different people play different music, they put different things on their video boards, and we've noticed a good vibe at places that turn the music up a little bit louder. Yesterday, there was a good vibe out in the parking lot. It was a sunny day, where you're driving around in your car, you'd probably turn the radio up a little bit. So, we turned it up a little bit. But, we did that before we even opened the gates, when there was no one was in there, and it was loud then. It was something we were going to do throughout the game and it didn't have anything to do with how the game was going."
