Pfft...just another clown in a long line of loudmouth boorish Philadelphians who made and continue to make us all look small-minded provincial rubes.

MDS

im sure his guido son or whatever greaseball takes over that pos place will be much more tolerant of puerto ricans.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i am a little bit sad i won't be able to hear him slur his way through another PSA about immigration on WIP
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

DH

some of the most overrated cheesesteaks in the city..this should be in the good riddance thread

Sgt PSN

Pretty sure the cheesesteaks aren't going anywhere.

charlie

no, but conversations about cheesesteaks should go in the good riddance thread.

Rome

Referring to those things as cheesesteaks is really comical.   They're shtein ona roll sold to tourists and nbhd wops who don't know any different.

MDS

its sad

anytime someone finds out im from philly around they say "oh, pats and genos?" and i have to explain how mediocre those places are and how they should never, ever go there if theyre in philly.

it probably wont work.

Not many people that aren't from the Philly area really gravitate towards Cheesesteaks. But people don't go so much for the food, but more for eating at two iconic food establishments that are at least nationally reknown.

Can't blame us out of towners for going there. PG and MURP took me there, and now I can brag to people that I went there.

But every person from Philly says that they've 'had better' when it comes to cheesesteaks. Always. Regardless, I went to Pat's and Geno's and ran up the steps at the museum, like a douche, and I'm a better person for it. I'd go to Pat's and Geno's again, farg it if better cheesesteaks exist, people could give two fargs about that.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

I had Pat's I think a while back, I really didn't think it was that bad. Tony Luke's is delicious. Don't really know any of the smaller shops.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

i think pat's are actually pretty good cheesesteaks, definitely not the best in philly but it's cool to say they suck.

DH

off the top of my head just in south philly, jims, johns and phillips all make better cheesesteaks...theres no such thing as a bad cheesesteak, but pats and genos are both low on the list

PhillyPhreak54

Yeah - there's no such thing as a bad cheesesteak.

Except it has to be from that area. There are bad imitation ones all overthe country.

You've been in Texas too long, Rube.
