If he was white no one would give a damn. He'd be just another average dead white musician. But because he's black and played with a white band his status is elevated. Reverse racism at its finest.

I'm younger than you, my parents didn't like Springsteen, and except for maybe 1 or 2 songs I'm not a big fan either, so I only knew Clemons from that song which played like every day in retail
