This team won't beat Chicago, Green Bay, or New Orleans in the playoffs. Only reason they've made a season of it is because of Vick's legs. Good D's will contain him and beat him into the ground. If this team can build a decent line within the next few years, then it'll be time to think Superbowl, but not now.

yeah im so farging mad...all i wanted to do was wake up hit the couch and watch the espns suck off vick and the eagles and talk about how they are the nfc favorite...now i cant even watch tv because its all gonna be how could they lose to joe webb has michael vick been solved the eagles suck...pretty sure im now gonna go see true utley

im not even mad at the result because in the end i think this helps more than hurts...they essentially are getting their bye week and allowing vick and others to heal up and get some much needed rest...it would have been very hard to have played three real games in 14 days and won that wild card opener

however it pisses me off to no end that the eagles tried their best and lost to farging joe webb at home in what was a meaningful game for them and meant shtein to the vikings....that is an effin disgrace

This is pretty much exactly how I feel, though I don't think they did their best.  They were flat all night.  In the grand scheme of things this loss isn't that terrible, but Super Bowl teams win these games.

So apparently the Eagles FO pushed the NFL hard for a reschedule for 2 reasons:

1. Thought the elements reduced their advantage in the game.
2. Were concerned that people would cite the state of emergency and attempt to get refunds.

Had I known this, I would have been rooting for them to lose.  Assfaces.

Except this is incorrect.  They shtein the bed so bad, Reid will put all the starters out there for at least the 1st quarter if not the whole half.  Now that they convinced me otherwise, they're playing exactly how I thought they would - get in, one and done (two if lucky).

Anyone else get the bad feeling they're going to get blown out again round 1 of the playoffs? I just see too many late season similarities from the coaching staff to think they'll change.
