wouldnt shock me at all if the giants or saints took out atlanta in the divisonal round anyway
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Tomahawk

Atlanta is going to be hard to beat at their home. Matt Ryan is something extraordinary like 18-1 at home

ice grillin you

atlanta anywhere scares no one and shouldnt...in fact the only team that remotely scares me in the nfc is new orleans because i think brees would light this defense up

in fact id make new orleans the favorite in a game at atlanta and the giants a virtual pick em....maybe atlanta by a couple two or three pts

Any QB in the playoffs will light this defense up

ice grillin you

brees is the only qb in the conf. that i think can out score vick and by a significant amount...or the only one that makes me at least worry that he can

This is my thinking as well. I wouldn't feel comfortable in a shootout with their O. Atlanta doesn't scare me. Giants do...a little. Although, I think the Eagles coaching staff would stick with what works rather than try to add new wrinkles to the game plan like they did the first half.

Tomahawk

True....if the Eagles jump out to an early lead, it would take most teams out of their gameplans, but all the Saints do is pass anyway.

This all may be moot as I'm guessing the Eagles get the 3 seed and will have to play the Giants in the 1st round....beating any team 3 times in a year is a tall order

ice grillin you

agreed...and its not just brees with NO its also the payton factor

and dont get me wrong atlanta or the giants could definitely beat the eagles in the playoffs im just saying im not worried a little bit about either one

order of teams I'd like to see the Eagles play from most to least:

any team in the NFC West

TB

Chicago

GB
ATL
NYG

NO

PhillyPhreak54

I am also unafraid of ATL.

I hope they do play him because the theater of Vick going back there would trump any emotion that the Falcons would be able to muster up. Matt Ryan and his home record and those bandwagon fans with their fake noise wouldn't be able to phase what Vick would do that game.

I agree with this list, but I would flip GB and ATL.

I don't think the Falcons want to see Vick and the Eagles. Everybody talks about how Matt Ryan has only lost one time in the dome as a starter. Well, you know who that team was that beat them? That's right, the Eagles. They're a good team and all, but I think if you put Vick, Pimp, Maclin and Shady on turf in there, that's too much speed for their D to handle. The Falcon D's not that great to begin with, especially in the secondary. Besides, most of that crowd will be torn anyway, because as much as they might want to cheer on the Falcons, they all still love Vick. Not saying they can't lose there, but I like the Eagles' chances in the GA Dome.

I agree with most...NO is the team I'd least like to see, because there's no way in hell the Eagles D can hang with their offense. At all.

Atl shouldn't scare anyone for any reason. They've gotten 'fat' feasting on the bottom of the NFC South and the NFC West this year. They're just not that good. They have a quality win here and there, but for the most part they're not a team that other teams wouldn't want to play. There's a reason they're not highly touted this year.  Same for the Bears. Philly vs. Atlanta anywhere would be a good matchup for the Iggs. Like most NO is the only worrisome team because Brees will absolutely shred the secondary as it's comprised right now.

Rome

i'd love to see new orleans playing outside of the dome.

they'd get crushed in philly.

I was at the game last year in ATL, and at least half the stadium was there solely to root on Vick.  It would be interesting to see how that dynamic plays out in a championship game.
