Whatever happens, I don't see him leading the taterskins to a win.  If they do win, the story will something like 'a return to form for Vick,' not 'McNabb makes a point.'

Depends on how Vick plays. If he plays as well as he has and they still lose thanks to the D, no one is going to claim he returns to form. And as bad as the Skins D is Vick should on paper at least have similar results.

Homer: Is it BATMAN!!??
Marge: No hes a scientist
Homer: Batman is a scientist.
Marge: Its not BATMAN!

I think the d played by the skins was a fluke against the rams and they completely mis-gameplanned for bradford and his abilities. they thought they were going to roll right in there and beat up a bad o-line and a rookie qb by playing a soft zone coverage.

problem was they underestimated bradfords ability to run accurate quick slants off and on the blitz too. I think this game with the eagles will be played entirely different from a defensive standpoint and the skins d-line, haynesworth on mcglynn especially, will be all over vick causing him to come back to earth.

I'll be in Berwick.

lolololololololololololololololololololol

I didn't even know that Powlus had a bar up there now.  When I lived in [gulp]Danville[/gulp] I'd occassionally stop in Orlando's....Bo Orlando I think was the owner's name.  Some dude who played OL for the Bengals back in the 80's or something.  Whatever.

Bo Orlando was a safety for the Oilers.

That might have been it.  Thought I remembered seeing a Bengals jersey with his name hanging up in the joint.  Haven't been in the place for about 10 years.  Berwick sucks.  That's the real point.

almost as loud as the sound of you furiously beating your dick when your hero appears on the screen.

LOL.

Truth be told, McNabb should be greeted with nothing but cheers because the bottom line is that the dude was the franchise QB for the most successful decade in team history and made some amazing plays, had some amazing games and gave fans plenty to cheer about.  Sure, he didn't deliver a championship but neither has any other Eagles QB in the Super Bowl era.  I'm glad the Eagles are going in another direction now but that still doesn't change the fact that he did a lot for the Eagles during his 11 years in Philly.

Of course, I have no doubt that we'll see the ugly side of Eagles fans when he comes out on the field.  Too bad.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Wrong.  The cheers should outweigh the boos, but that GQ interview alone deserves some hearty boos.

If players were booed and cheered based on comments they make in interviews, there'd be exactly 0 players getting cheered.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Fine.  Boos it is, then.  Or sodomy.

PhillyPhreak54

He should get a standing O.

And then boo him the rest of the game.

Rome

if by standing ovation you mean 70,000 people throwing batteries at him then i accept your premise.
