The BIGSTUD

When Kolb gets hurt due to the bad offensive line, his trade value goes out the window. I say we trade Kolb and then start Kafka until Vick gets back. Kafka is awesome.

the 10000 problems with this team aside, there is one silver lining:

it feels so good to be done with the donovan mcnabb era.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

One of my thoughts after this game was how long will we suffer under the yoke of Andy Reid and his horrendous on field decisions? At the end of the first half, after having a five minute official time out to get a plan together, he calls a timeout! Then, you look at him on the sidelines and he looks like he's completely lost, only to have his team go on the field and get a delay of game penalty after having called timeout!!

WHAT THE FARG!!

As long as he's been coaching, he can't get it done any better than that?? C'MON!!

Really don't get the hate for the defense.  They locked shtein down after the 1st quarter.  Can't really complain about a white linebacker missing a pick when a black WR misses the winning touchdown.

But seriously, how bad was the wind in the second half?  McNabb had two completions, of 5 and 8 yards.  Kolb obviously seemed downright afraid to throw downfield.  Just curious.

I was about 10 rows off of the field...it wasnt that bad at all

mcnabb was being his usual self just trying not to make mistakes, and kolb followed suit so he wouldnt get booed out of philadelphia. I felt worse for jackson and maclin that had to keep running those deep routes the whole second half and not get shtein thrown to them. even at one point, jackson came back to the bench after a 3 and out and threw his helmet against the bench. just a hunch...I dont think mr. jackson is a very good supporter of kolb.

Well they couldn't make a stop at the end of the game which would have gave the offense the ball with more time and a timeout.  It seems like ever since the Saints wildcard game they haven't been able to stop a team when they need to most in a close game.

This defense is one of the worst at tackling that I can remember.

The offense had plenty of chances.  17 points should not have been enough for the skins to win.

kolb never even attempted anything over ten yards except for one to desean and the last play.

avant should have made that catch.

quinten mikell sucks icehole.

shady looked amazing. best i've ever seen him.  breaking ankles with his cuts.

I don't disagree, but good defenses make stops when they need to.  This defense isn't very good.  Like the rest of the team mediocre.

On that pass to Desean that was overthrown they only showed one angle on the replay.  It looked like the guy at the line may have gotten a finger tip on it.  Anybody else see that? Also it looked like if Desean would have dove he could have had a chance.  Yes/No? Desean btw has been making a lot of mental errors this year.  If it wasn't for a defensive holding they may not have gotten a first down at the end of the game.

yes, he should have had that catch...but he gets a pass because he's so money the rest of the time, and I'm not getting down on him failing to bail the team out on a last ditch miracle catch.

and yeah, shady looks good.  I'm not worried about RB so long as he's healthy.  he may not become a rock star, but he's a pro football rb no doubt.

That's not how it works.

Not when you're the superstar, agreed.

When you're the possession WR being asked to save the day after your coach shat the bed all day long, different story.

Where have these great linebackers been all year? I thought this D had speed? How did the Redksins gash us on the edges so bad? Or was it just bad tackling?

Exactly.  His only job is to catch everything that touches his hands.
