Why is Riley Cooper on the hands team? Cut him

McCoy looked good

Words can not express how much I hate Michael Vick and the FO for not releasing him before this season. He had some good throws, but probably just as many bad decisions. If the Lions' DBs didn't have hands like Coopers, the Lions very well may have won the game...at least one Eagles score wouldn't have happened.

Stewart Bradley must be essential to the Eagles Run D

QB Eagles

Vick had a pretty good game and honestly I didn't think he made decisions any worse than McNabb typically did during his tenure. The accuracy on the longer passes was worse than what you get with McNabb, but that's not a new revelation about Vick. I do agree that some of those poorly executed tosses could have very easily been picks. I didn't feel like his mistakes were in the mental part of the game though (other than spiking the ball out of anger).

The day could have been pretty scary without a QB that mobile. Vick got sacked enough as it was.

The Eagles clearly have one of the best backup QBs in the game right now, and one that is quite possibly better than their starting quarterback (at least at this point in Kolb's career). On paper it was one of the better games in Vick's career, too. I don't come away from this game thinking of Vick as a major weakness in the team.

yeah of all the times to complain about michael vick now is the last time to ever do it....and wait for cobb to suck it up this week...

Anytime I feel about complaining about Vick is the exact right time to ever do it.

I thought this season was to validate Kolb's ability....might have well not traded McNabb to a divisional rival

ice grillin you

i agree it should be about cobb...but thats not vicks fault...hes just playing when asked too...and damn if he isnt exciting and playing well...blame the team for cobb not playing not vick

and how could you not rather watch vick than mcnabb...jesus

Other than Kolb, I'd rather watch the better QB. McNabb has been and still is a better QB than Vick

Young, athletic McNabb was definitely the superior QB, despite Vick being faster and overall more athletic.

McNabb now is still probably better throwing wise, but he's too old and slow to survive behind this line. He'd still do a better job than Kolb, but that's not saying much either.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

It's true. As dumb as McNabb is, he can still read a defense (that's not a 3-4)

reese125

I wish I believed it even from a 4-3 standpoint

the guy had to be held at gunpoint to make an audible or call out blitz schemes at the line of scrimmage during a game. he was completely brainwashed that reid was calling the correct play every time

ice grillin you

hes to much of a bitch and doesnt have it inside of himself to take charge...thus no audibles....horrendous two minute offense...ect...

reid is hardly faultless but with a game coach like andy donovan was just about the worst possible persona he could have ever had at qb

Favre would be hilarious working with Reid. No way he follows some of the dumbass calls Reid makes.

Didn't Childress get butt hurt last year after Favre audibled a few plays?

Magical_Retard

Yeah. He would audible out of running plays. He also calls him Brad.
