If anything wanting Reid to be fired should inspire you to see more of Kolb. If Kolb is good, the team is good and has a future. If he's awful Reid moves much closer to being fired. Playing Vick does nothing for the future and does nothing for or against Reid's job security.

Couldn't disagree more. With Vick, this is maybe an 8-8 team. With Kolb, you get down to the 5 win range....maybe worse if he ends up being terrible. The current situation is that this is not a good football team regardless of who the QB is and regardless of how infuriating it would be to watch week in and week out, the worse this team does this year, they better off they are next year and beyond.

Think about it.....a 3-13 season basically gave us (for the most part) 12 good regular season football and5 deep playoff runs to watch.

Vick is better suited to be a winning QB with the o-line situation. Thats a fact. Kolb already got killed and will all season long. RJS is completely right, losing is ideal if it means them sending AR to the glue factory.

For Reid to be fired he would need to have Kolb fail overall and then have his next pet project fails as well. So we are in for at least this rebuild and another one if needed.
