Is anyone offering a line on what Gods plan for him will be?

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Wow...Weaver got injured on his first carry of the season. Now I understand what Reid is doing by passing all the time...he is protecting his running backs. What an angel.

Nate Allen: I'll be ready by summer

Eagles rookie safety Nate Allen said he'll be ready to play by the time training camp rolls around -- if there is a training camp.

Allen, recovering from a torn patella tendon, said he will be "100 percent" by the time training camp is usually held, late July.

He might not be ready by mini-camps -- again, if those happen -- but will be ready to run and cut by that time, which is usually around April.

Allen is right now working on his flexibility and strength -- doing body-weight squats and walking in a pool -- at the NovaCare complex. He's there from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Complicating his recovery is the potential NFL lock-out. If it happens, he will be barred from having any contact with the team. Allen said he hopes to get a complete rehabilitation schedule through June or July so he can keep working on it on his own, even though the cost will have to come out of the rookie's pocket. He plans to work out with private trainers in Arizona.

Allen said he had saved his money, just in case.

I hope to hell he's not deluding himself.

Nonsense...don't you remember when Buckhalter came back from rupturing his patella tendon?

PoopyfaceMcGee

The patellar tendon isn't usually as bad an injury as the ACL/MCL. Very realistic.

Diomedes

So they say.  And he's still basically a child, so maybe there's some stem cellls up in that joint, knitting shtein together better than new.

One year they'll learn to stop drafting defensive linemen.

Now they will have Abiamiri AND Graham collecting dust at that position. Sweet.
