the NHL schedule comes out tomorrow and the Flyers will be opening the new Pittsburgh arena on 10/7, going to St. Louis on 10/9, then coming home to the Farg/WFC/whatever vs Colorado

I thought he looked good before he got hurt...not sure if he's teh "answer", but a him/Leighton platoon wouldn't be so bad....

True.  Parent just stopped progressing, and was a liablity with the puck.  Nashville will probably do good with him, they really do a great job with their Dmen

Accoring to TSN negotiations aren't going well as Hamhuis wants around 4.5 million a year and the Flyers may trade his rights to Vancouver during the draft tonight to get something for him.

I thought the Van source denied any interest in trading for him. Sadly he'll probably get $4.5 million on the open market so he's smart to hold out.

If LA offers you Bernier for JVR straight up do you make the deal? I do in a heartbeat.

Whatever happens I hope he doesn't go for Tim Thomas, apparently Boston wants Gagne. I don't mind parting with Gagne, I just mind taking on a 36 year old backup goalie with 3 years left on his deal at $5 million per

Like last season when we all thought Boumeester but ended up with Pronger, I think he makes a move for a goalie that no one sees coming.
