Grade the 2010 Draft Class

So I don't know most of these players and won't bother rating each pick or the entire draft, but in reading about all of them being high character guys I have to say that I am not the least bit surprised. In fact I'm a little shocked that people here are surprised.

Just last week Quentin Mikell made a big to-do about acrimony in the locker room last season. Guys showing up with a me-first attitude and questioning the coaches. So what did we see happen? They purged a lot of the roster this offseason. Then they draft a bunch of high character guys and everyone acts like they can't believe it. If the coaches thought the lockerroom was a problem last year (and apparently they did if Mikell felt comfortable talking about it) AND considering some of the we're-not-rebuilding-but-we-actually-totally-are-rebuilding changes that have been made to the team, I think it follows that they would want to build the future with a young core of yessirs and nosirs. And I can't say that I fault them. It seems pretty consistent.

I, for one, think that "reloading" sounds a lot hotter than "rebuilding."  C-.

I grade the draft a B+
