one day people will realize that every player who even has a chance of being drafted has made some good playes at some point in their college career

Pretty much

His highlight tape is just like Gocongs. There was one standout sick ass play around the 57 second mark, he takes the left tackle and bull rush/tosses him 5 yards into the RB.

Yeah but at least this dude did it against decent competition.

The BIGSTUD

I actually like this pick now for the simple fact that this board needs a player to mock for the next 3-5 years and since the Eagles cut all the dead weight there really isn't anyone left that fits the bill.

I'm looking forward to seeing the wit and sarcasm that he generates over the coming years.

QuoteHe's a very, very quiet guy. His coach explained it to me this way: You know that safety who plays safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers (Troy Polamalu). This is what he is, except as a defensive lineman," said Reid, referring to Washington head coach Steve Sarkisian, a USC assistant while Polamalu was a Trojan. "He's very quiet, very soft spoken, [but] when he puts on his uniform, he's a different guy.

I think I finally understand why he was the pick.

He's Samoan. Guaranteed 2 or 3 years of at least mediocrity.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Dreamy.

Reid is not trying this guy at LB, at least for now.  He actually said that he could push him inside to DT on passing downs.  Whatever, I guess I should be glad that they didn't draft a kicker.  Adding this guy makes it more likely that they'll come out of this draft with SOMEONE to play opposite Cole, although this has the flavor of McDougle and border patrol star Jamaal Green for me right now.

Rome

Everyone here hates this pick.  Therefore, I'm going to be the only one to come out in support of it.  That way in four years from now when he's a star, I'll be able to bump the thread and show everyone just how smart I was.

QuoteThe 6-3, 263-pound Te'o-Nesheim (pronounced tuh-OH NESS-ime) will be added to the defensive-end rotation and play some defensive tackle, Reid said. Te'o-Nesheim, who met with the Eagles once before the draft, said he wasn't watching it when he was selected.

"I was just lying down and looking at the ceiling," he said.

So were we, Danny boy.  So were we.

Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.

whats incredible about this is that they obviously had this guy pegged since the combine and workout days...they were taking this guy no matter who fell or who was there when their spots came up

they knew this guy would be available no matter what...they could have traded down further and still got him but even they realized how ridiculous that would have been

bottom line is they had incredible tunnel vision whcih is the single worst quality you can have when drafting
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous
