Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rome

the good news is david herndon managed to give up only as many runs as he got outs.  that's a fairly significant improvement over the recently departed nate robertson.

Drunkmasterflex

Herndon has had some solid outings for them.

i had no clue baez was back

also @ rome in this spot pitchers are simply supposed to throw strikes. you figure if you throw strikes with a 10 run lead you might give up a run or two but it wont get worse than that. robertson was walking every other batter on top of serving up hits.

And most of his runs come in the first inning or so. He's still a fat slob.

Jayson Werth on playing in Florida:

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

The way it's quoted in the recap makes it sound like he meant 4,000.  But it's much funnier if he didn't.

Rome

it'd be even funnier if he ended up playing there next year.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Depends... do the Red Sox or Yankees play there in 2011?

Rome

that would be slightly less funny.
